Random Acts of Kindness

June 11, 2013

It’s summer and with warmer temperatures brings a great opportunity to get out in your community and make a difference.  I saw this list on Pinterest and it got me thinking about how I could make my own Random Acts of Kindness list to work on this summer.

 Here’s my list:

  1. Write thank you letters

  2. Deliver treats to someone who could use a pick me up

  3. Clean out closet and donate clothes to local women’s charity

  4. Pay for the person behind me at a drive thru

  5. Leave my favorite book in a public place with a note (or donate to the local library)

  6. Fill an expired parking meter

  7. Write a thank you letter to my parents, you know- just for being them

  8. Ask someone “how are you?” Mean it. And really listen.

  9. Compliment a stranger sincerely

  10. Send a friend a small gift anonymously

I’m going to work on these little acts over over the summer.  Do you want to join me?  What’s on your list?
