It's taken awhile but I wanted to blog about Madeleine's Birthday Party. We had the BEST time celebrating her first year. She is such a ray of sunshine and I thought the perfect way to celebrate her bright personality was to throw a rainbow themed party.
We had such a fun day celebrating Madeleine. We invited friends and family over to the house for a fun little pool day in the back yard. Madeleine got extra love from her grandparents and little friends. We are so thankful for everyone who came and helped us celebrate.
I love putting out a good food spread. We had fun playing with the theme. We served a fresh veggie and fruit tray, a snack mix full of delicious treats, and mini cupcakes from Scratch.
We were blessed with warm weather - perfect for water play in the back yard. Friends enjoyed blow up pool fun and lots of backyard activities.
Madeleine was slow to warm with her birthday cake. I think she was a little overwhelmed with everyone staring and singing at her. She eventually came around and started enjoying her colorful rainbow cake :).
We had such a special day celebrating our sweet girl. This past year has absolutely flown by. I'm so glad we could enjoy this big milestone with our favorite people. Cheers baby girl! Can't wait to see what you do this year!
