Burgers with Grilled Onion Strings

Tim and I enjoyed some delicious gourmet burgers the other night. I love when I can make a delicious meal at home, that we could have ordered at a restaurant, but we saved ourselves money and the hassle of leaving the house.

These are savory and delicious! So so good!


Burgers with Grilled Onion Strings

  • 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef

  • 1 tsp. Greek Seasoning

  • 1 white onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 tsp. hickory BBQ seasoning

  • 1-2 Tbsp. light olive oil

  • cheddar cheese

  • pretzel bun

Form 6 hamburger patties. Season both sides of patties with Greek seasoning. Grill on medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Top with cheese and heat until melted.

Heat olive oil in pan over stove for 7-10 minutes. Cook onion, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown.

Build each burger with bun, burger, and top with caramelized onion. I served our burgers with a side of brussel sprouts and parmesan potato wedges.
