Marinated Flank Steak

“This is the best meal I’ve had all year” – my husband

 

That’s really what he said.

 

It’s also the moment I learned the only thing you need to make a man happy is a well seasoned & cooked steak.

 

I went to Pinterest and found a great marinade recipe here.  I tweaked it a little bit and am really happy with how it turned out.

 

 

YUMM! Seriously, this steak was marinated and cooked to perfection!

Marinated Flank Steak 
(Recipe inspired from here

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • juice of 1 large lemon

  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder

  • 1 Tbsp. dried basil

  • 1/2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes

  • 1 Tsp. black pepper

  • 1Tsp. red pepper flakes

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Whisk all of the ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed.  Marinate your steak 2 hours (or overnight for the most flavor.)

 

Grill your steak over medium-low heat 10 minutes on one side and 8 minutes on the other – or until cooked the way you like.
