BBQ Pan Seared Pork Chops

Things have been a little nutty around here lately. With the crazy, I’ve needed quick, easy meals to make at home. One of the first recipes I made in our new home were these delicious BBQ Pan Seared Pork Chops.

These chops are so easy to prepare – have a great flavor and I love the crispy shell. We served our pork chips with a nice colorful side salad.

BBQ Pan Seared Pork Chops

  • Tenderized Pork Chops

  • 1/4 Cup flour

  • BBQ Rub

  • Kosher salt

  • Black Pepper

  • 2 Tbsp butter

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Start by seasoning your pork chops with BBQ Rub, salt and pepper. Don’t be afraid to be generous. Dredge seasoned pork chops in flour.

Meanwhile, heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Once your butter and oil are hot (bubbles start to prickle to the surface), drop your pork chops into the pan. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side, or until done. *Make sure your oil/butter mixture is hot before you place your pork chops in, or they won’t get to be that gorgeous golden/brown color.

Press your “that was easy” button and enjoy!
