Happy Thursday! Only one more day until the weekend!
Tim and I enjoyed a great new burger recipe last week – Greek Turkey Burgers. These have a little of our favorite things, including feta and sun-dried tomatoes! A great combo and flavor packed!
These are super easy to make, and a great twist on the average burger.
Enjoy!
We served our turkey burgers with one of our favorites, brussels sprouts.
Greek Turkey Burgers (Recipe inspired from here)
1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
2 cloves minced garlic
1 egg
1/2 C. breadcrumbs
1 C. crumbled feta cheese
1/4 C. drained, chopped sun-dried tomatoes in oil
1/4 C. diced onions
2 Tbsp. chopped flat leaf parsley
2 Tsp. dried oregano
salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
Baby spinach
Tzatziki sauce
Whole wheat rolls
Pre-heat grill to medium for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine burger ingredients and mix to combine. Use a large cookie scooper to divide mixture into patties. Shape into 6 patties, each 1/2 inch thick.
Place patties on lightly greased grill, cover and cook for about 4 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Serve with tzatziki on the bottom and topped with baby spinach.
Enjoy!
