Ok, I have a confession.
I have a new favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie.
After you make this recipe – you will have a new favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie.
It’s so gooey on the inside. Crispy on the outside. Can you say chocolate? This cookie has two types of chocolate chips – mini and regular! Taking a bite – its sinking your teeth into a little bit of heaven. Maybe even put some vanilla bean ice cream on top of that heaven… oh, the possibilities…
So, don’t delay. Get to the grocery store and make these COOKIES!!!
(To balance out the cookies, Tim and I enjoyed this awesome Coconut Chicken Salad for dinner, so relish)
The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie
1/2 Cup oil (Coconut oil if you can find it)
1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
1/2 Tsp salt
1 Tsp baking powder
1/4 Tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 3/4 Cup flour
8 oz mini chocolate chips
8 oz large chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together oil, eggs, and brown sugar until very well mixed. Mmm. It’s time for the chocolate chips… Add remaining ingredients, mixing together until all are incorporated. Mix all the amazingness together!
Use your medium cookie scoop to make balls on cookie sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or just until outside of the cookies have browned over so slightly around the edges. Remove, cool slightly and DIG IN! (drink with milk)
