Happy Easter Everyone!
Today I was in the mood to bake something. I got inspired by these:
Who doesn’t love Pretzel M&M’s? I was inspired to use these in a traditional Chocolate Chip Cookie. I used this recipe from Style and Grace as inspiration.
Pretzel M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies (Inspired from here)
2 Sticks (1 Cup) butter, softened
1 Cup granulated sugar
3/4 Cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
3 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
1 Tsp baking soda
1/2 Tsp salt
1 Cup chocolate chips
3/4 Cup pretzel M&M’s
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line your baking sheet(s) with parchment paper and set aside.
Using an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugars until well combined. Add eggs – one at a time and then vanilla, mix until well combined. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Carefully add the dry ingredients to the wet. Mix in the chocolate chips and pretzel M&M’s.
Use your medium cookie scooper and scoop cookie dough onto cookie sheets. Bake 13-15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
Don’t forget to enjoy them while they are hot! If you could make a cookie with any type of candy, what would you make?
