Feta Sun-Dried Tomato Turkey Burger Sliders

Tim and I love the Mediterranean turkey burgers from Whole Foods. I came across this recipe from Picky Palate’s blog and thought it was the perfect thing to try.

These turkey burgers use minimal ingredients, yet still have massive flavor. Tim LOVED them! These burgers are great with a side of these.

Feta Sun-Dried Tomato Turkey Burger Sliders (Recipe Inspired Here)

  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (if you fry them in frying pan – I used my George Forman instead)

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1/2 Cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 Cup sun-dried tomatoes, jarred in olive oil

  • 1/2 Cup fresh baby spinach leaved, chopped

  • pinch of Kosher salt, fresh cracked pepper and Lawry’s Garlic Salt

  • Baby hamburger buns or dinner rolls, split and warmed

  • 2 Cups fresh baby spinach leaves

Sun-Dried Tomato Mayonnaise (sorry folks – I don’t like condiments – weird I KNOW – so I didn’t make the Mayonnaise, but left it here for you in case you want to try it out)

  • 1 Cup mayonnaise

  • 2 Tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, packed in olive oil, drained

  • Place mayonnaise and tomatoes into a bowl; mix to combine. Spread over inside of warm rolls.

Heat oil into a large skillet over medium heat. (OR – use your George Forman Grill – which is what I did).

Place turkey, feta, sun dried tomato, spinach and seasonings into a mixing bowl. Mix until just combined. Form 1/4 Cup little patty’s and place onto a cookie sheet. Once all are formed, place batches on George Forman. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

I sprinkled the top of the burgers with Greek seasonings. (It’s the BEST!) Grill the burger buns so they are nice and toasty. Layer bottom roll with spinach and the burger. Close with the top roll and ENJOY!

These burgers make me excited for summer. What’s your favorite summer food?
