Taco Lettuce Wraps

August 4, 2014

I’ve got a super, duper, easy recipe to share with you today.

Only a couple of easy ingredients, and you’ve got yourself a light little meal.  Low carb and extra tasty.  Meat and veggies = healthy right?

I know you’ll enjoy!

YUMMM!

Taco Lettuce Wraps

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 Package of low sodium taco seasoning

  • 1/4 C. water

  • Shredded cheese

  • Tomato

  • Low fat sour cream

  • Favorite salsa

  • Romaine lettuce head

In a pan, brown ground beef until browned.  Add in taco seasoning and water to the ground beef and let simmer for five minutes.

Cut the end of the lettuce head and wash each piece.  Cut tomato into small pieces.  Using the lettuce like a boat to make a wrap, add a half cup of taco meat and then add your choice of fixings like tomato’s, cheese, sour cream, etc.  Enjoy!
