Saturday was fun. Tim planned a full day, packed with new things for the two of us. We started off the day tailgating at Notre Dame. What a beautiful campus. We had never been and the campus was beautiful. Their tailgating was a lot more tame then an Iowa Football Game – but still fun!
After the game, we headed over to Michigan City for great outlet shopping and lunch at a local brewery. Then, we headed over to the beach. We got there right at sunset. It was beautiful!
We ended our night with our first drive-in movie. They have a theater in Portage, right down the street from Valpo. We saw Wallstreet with Michael Douglas. It was a great movie and a great experience. I can’t wait for next summer – we’ll go all the time.
I love experiencing new things with Tim. He’s a great travel partner on this adventure we call “life”.
