What’s your favorite meal?
What’s the easiest recipe you know how to make?
Tater Tot Casserole is Tim and my favorite recipe along with the easiest – it only requires a baking dish and spatula!
Since we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary tonight, I wanted to make something that brought back memories of when we were 16-17 years old, eating around the dinner table with our parents. This was a favorite then and it’s a favorite now.
I decided to use my new cooking dish from Pat to make this tasty recipe.
Tater Tot Casserole
1 lb ground beef
98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
Frozen Peas
Tater Tots
Cheddar Cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease your baking dish. Pack the hamburger down on the bottom of the pan like so. Load up the tater tots. Next comes the cream of mushroom soup. Pour that on and spread all over tots. Next come the peas. Sprinkle a layer on top. Finally, sprinkle with cheese. Don’t be shy!
Bake for 20 minutes. Take out and stir casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and a little more cheese. Bake for 20-25 more minutes, until meat is cooked through.
Isn’t the dish beautiful? Thanks again Pat!
Now, DIG IN! Don’t feel bad if you need to go back for seconds. I sure didn’t!
